We’re excited to announce our partnership with Alaska Works Partnership (AWP)

Together, we’re creating real opportunities for AWP participants to put their training into practice and gain confidence before moving on to apprenticeships or full-time careers in the trades. Through Adivo, participants can take on flexible, short-term jobs that fit their schedules while building hands-on experience in real work environments.

As part of this collaboration, AWP participants will benefit from an exclusive reduced commission rate—just 13% instead of the standard 20%. This means more earnings stay in their pockets as they complete tasks, sharpen their skills, and prepare for future career pathways. It’s a steppingstone designed to bridge training and real-world opportunity, empowering students to learn, earn, and grow.

Train Today. Earn Tomorrow.

Thanks to AWP’s partnership with Adivo—Alaska’s on-demand platform for home and handyman services—students can put their new skills to work right away. With reduced commission rates on the Adivo app, AWP graduates connect directly with local customers, gain real-world job experience, and start earning income immediately. It’s training that doesn’t just stop at the classroom—it leads to opportunity.

A Win-Win Collaboration

Empowering Local Talent

Through this collaboration, Adivo and Alaska Works are creating a true win-win partnership. The Adivo platform gives Alaska Works students the opportunity to apply the skills they’ve learned in the program, complete real jobs for real clients, and gain valuable hands-on experience. Adivo is also delivering Alaska Works–specific app enhancements at no cost. In return, Alaska Works is helping promote the app to customers, encouraging them to post jobs that Alaska Works students can fulfill. This is a collaborative, non-monetary partnership designed to benefit the community and strengthen local workforce development.
