Communicate with a tasker that is available NOW using a secure chat. After communicating, accept a quote
3. Complete Job and Process Payment
Tasker leaves for the job. You can track the journey once the tasker is en route. Once the tasker is done with the task the payment is processed via our financial partner - Stripe
4. Rate Tasker
You can rate the tasker for the job to help others in the community.

How is this app different from other tasking apps?
At Adivo, we focus on tasks that are meant to be completed today and now, rather than in the future. Our platform provides real-time help from people near you who are available to work.
My plans for help fell through today. Can I hire someone to do the job now?
Yes! When you want to hire someone, simply log in and browse through the people who are available to help you now. Alternatively, you can post a job with a more detailed description, and taskers can contact you. Make sure your profile includes the address of the job location (your house or office) so that only people near that location are displayed.
Once I accept a Tasker to do the job, will they come right away?
Yes. Taskers should leave within 10 minutes of accepting the job. You can follow their journey to you, and you will be alerted when they arrive.
I want someone to help me shovel snow in my driveway, but I want to schedule it for this weekend. Can I do that?
Unfortunately, you cannot schedule jobs for the future at this time. You should post the job on the day you need it. Adivo is specifically designed to connect people needing help today and now with those who are willing and available.
How will people know that my snow shovel job has been posted?
All taskers who are available to work will see the list of jobs available in their area. They can message you, or you can message any Tasker from your Home Screen. Use filters to only see taskers willing to shovel snow today.
How do I pay the Tasker once they have completed the job?
The agreed-upon amount is charged by our service provider, Stripe. After the job is completed, you can rate your Tasker.
How much commission does Adivo take?
Adivo takes a commission of 20% (or $3.95, whichever is higher), from each completed job. This fee, paid by the Tasker, helps keep the platform running smoothly—it covers app hosting, payment processing through Stripe, marketing, and continuous updates to improve your experience. We also have a built-in pricing tool so you can see exactly what you'll take home and adjust your quote as needed!
